1. The book I am currently reading is Scorpia, by Anthony Horowitz. In this book there is a lot going on. This book is in a series and because of that there is a lot of information you need to know to understand what I'm reading right now. Right now Alex Rider finds out that his dad was a agent for Scorpia. Scorpia is an agency that is opposite of MI6. MI6 is the British Intelligence Agency. Scorpia hired Alex's dad as an assassin. Alex was told that his dad worked for MI6 though, so he is very confused. Alex sees a video showing that MI6 killed his father. Alex doesn't understand how MI6 could have not told him about that. He feels betrayed and wants to find out the whole truth and information.

2. In this book there is a lot of detail. Horowitz really explains things in this book. It must be hard for him too because there is a lot to talk about and MI6 is secretive. Horowitz must have had to do so much research to get the information for this book. For example, In the part I'm at Horowitz talks about expensive things that Scorpia gives Alex. There is a lot of detail in this part because Horowitz talks about style, and the price of these items.

3. The theme in this book is good vs. evil. I think this because in the book the MI6 are the good guys and Scorpia are the bad guys. Early in the book Scorpia tries to kill Alex but luckily he escapes and survives. Also as I said Alex may think that MI6 is the bad guys because he thinks they killed his father. I don't know for sure if they did or didn't yet.

4. My favorite character is Alex Rider. he is the main character. He is my favorite character because he has a lot of traits to him. He also being the protagonist has to deal with challenges every book and that to me really makes him special and different from other characters in different books. Alex also has a really action pack life. Every page is something new. That makes Alex unique.

5. My least favorite character is Mrs. Rothman. She is my least favorite character because she is the head of Scorpia, and though she is nice to Alex, she is convincing him to work for the bad guys. The bad guys, Scorpia actually are planning to kill many people. Alex doesn't know it yet nut if he joins Scorpia, he will become a mass murderer. Mrs. Rothman also is a mean person to a lot of people. Though she has a nice side, most of the time there is a lot of anger in her character and I don't like that.

6. I think that in the end of this book I will find out if Alex's dad was killed by Scorpia or MI6. MI6 is in my favor because they have helped and saved Alex in the past so I hope he will realize that and go back to them. I also think that by some miraculous reason Alex's dad will be alive to see him again. I think that would be a really good ending to the book or either the series.
